Erosion and Sediment Control

  • Compose Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCPs) and Erosion and Sedimentation Risk Assessments

  • Installation of erosion and sediment control mitigation and management structures including silt fencing, spring berms, check dams, sumps, straw wattles, High Performance Turf Reinforcement Mat (HPTRM), etc.

  • Implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) related to procedural, structural erosion control, structural sediment control, and implementation of Erosion and Sediment Control Structures (ESCs)

  • Apply additional ESCs to Special Erosion Protection Areas (SEPAs) and apply required special provisions

  • Create and monitor revegetation and project reclamation plans
